Founder letter

Every decision should move the project forward.

A revised drawing. An approved material. A question answered on site.

Each one changes what happens next: what gets built, how much it costs, who needs to act. Keeping those connections clear is a substantial part of delivering a project.

As an architect, I care about what happens to an idea after we present it. How it is understood, coordinated, priced, and eventually built. The care we put into design should carry through every one of those steps.

That is why I’m building RÜM.

I want the people responsible for a project to be able to follow its story: what changed, why it changed, who approved it, and what needs to happen next.

A decision made in a meeting should reach the people doing the work. A model should help us understand the consequences of a change. A cost report should arrive while there is still time to act.

RÜM connects project information, BIM, and the AI your team already uses around that purpose. The value is in the questions people can answer and the work they can move forward with confidence.

What is holding us up? Which information is current? Who needs to respond? What does this change mean for the project?

Those are everyday questions. Answering them should be an everyday capability.

I’m building RÜM with the realities of Latin American architecture and construction in mind: the teams, languages, working relationships, and constraints that shape how projects actually get delivered.

My ambition is straightforward: help people spend more of their time making good decisions, with the information and context those decisions deserve.

We put enormous care into our projects. That care deserves to make it all the way to the people building them.
